Marvel Energy is led by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, trainers, project managers, and technicians with extensive experience across the renewable energy, education, and manufacturing sectors. Our team holds certifications in solar PV design, energy auditing, occupational health and safety (OHS), project management, and vocational training. This strong technical foundation ensures reliable project delivery, consistent customer support, and effective knowledge transfer to communities and trainees.
Key Personnel
Eng. Ronald Ssempebwa – Managing Director
Holds a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive and Power Engineering from Kyambogo University. With extensive professional experience from reputable institutions including Wärtsilä Uganda, Jacobsen Power Plant (now under UEDCL), and Tullow Oil Uganda, he brings a wealth of expertise in power systems, project execution, and workplace safety. His leadership drives Marvel Energy’s strategic vision of safe, high-quality energy solutions with a focus on impactful community service.
Mr. Hannington Kayanja – Technical Services Manager
Holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Renewable Electric Power Systems), an MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications Engineering. He brings over a decade of multi-sectoral experience in solar power systems implementation in Uganda (including Airtel), India, and Sweden. His global exposure enhances the company’s capacity to deliver technologically sound and scalable energy systems across diverse environments.
Ms. Joanitah Nambi – Financial Systems and Compliance Consultant
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master’s degree in Management Studies (Financial Management), a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management, and a Bachelor’s in Management Science. Her strong command of financial planning, systems accountability, and strategic oversight ensures sound financial health and transparency within the organization.
Mr. Joseph Muzzanganda – Technical Services Engineer
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Kyambogo University. He brings hands-on expertise with over three years of experience in solar system design, installation, and maintenance. His commitment to precision and client satisfaction guides our technical teams in delivering consistent and reliable energy solutions.
Mr. Niwandinda Gilbert – Sales and Marketing Engineer
Holds a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Engineering from Busitema University and has over three years of experience in solar water pumping and system design. His vibrant and strategic approach to business development, client engagement, and cross-sectoral collaboration has significantly contributed to Marvel Energy’s sustained growth and brand visibility.
